Messages for me will probably be noticed within a couple of days if left on wikia:User talk:Robin Patterson.

Templates from Wikipedia
My former shortcut for use on the talk page of a template copied from the English Wikipedia is at Template:wptem. You have to add the Wikipedia page name and closing double curly braces. So you type something like this (except that you should be able to paste the "Template:..." part):
{{subst:wptem}}Template:Note}}
And the result should look like this:
For an example of the use of this template, see "What links here".
The following applies to the template:
| This page uses Creative Commons Licensed content from Wikipedia (view authors). |
|
The above didn't work properly. Fortunately it's no longer needed, because acknowledgment of origin of a template is easily done on the template page itself inside a "noinclude" tag (best started in the same line as other material), thus:<noinclude> say what you like in here
(any number of paragraphs!) </noinclude>

I've been helping revitalize the wiki. The hope is to get more viewers, editors, and returning users. This can help the Engineering Wiki stay current…
